Young Living International Grand Convention has just ended for 2010. Held in Salt Lake City, UT near our USA head offices in Lehi, UT, the event was attended by over 4500 guests who traveled from various places around the world including the USA, Europe, Kenya, Ecuador, Japan and Australia just to name a few.
The convention theme was “The One Gift” and a new book has been written in novel form about Gary’s experiences in the desert as he imagined what it would have been like to be part of the camel caravans and the Frankincense trade. Ordering information is included in the photo below. Frankincense, recorded in the Bible and other ancient texts, was prized beyond any other possession. Only the royalty were allowed to posses it. If caught with the resin from the Hojari variety, the punishment was to have ones hand cut off.
In the introduction author D. Gary Young states “I kept asking myself what it was that compelled me to keep returning again and again searching for more answers. Was it possible that the ancient people knew something that we don’t know? Could frankincense cure every conceivable illness? A lot of laboratory and university research is being conducted with frankincense right now, and science is beginning to document its reversal of cancer, depression, insomnia, arthritis, and autoimmune diseases, as well as building the immune system and repairing DNA breakdown. Is this a possible answer as to why the ancient prophets of so long ago lived to such an old age?”
