omega-blue.jpgSomething about getting older and wearing sandals is what I used to think was causing my sore cracked heels.  I used to spend money and time trying to soak, soften and then scrap off the dead caluses built up on my heels.   Walking was painful when I had a bad crack.  I would treat the cracks with oinment for a few days and the crack would heal but then, when the tissue was hard enough again, the painful cracks would return.

I was introduced to a new product called Omega Blue and began taking it for other benefits.  Right now I don’t even remeber what they are but I realized that it was benifiting me in other areas I had not previously anticipated, like improving the hormone balance, but that’s another subject. Omege Blue is an omega 3,6 & 9 product derived from a seclusive supply of mercury free cod liver oil, also contaning essential oils that help increase it’s effectiveness.

In addition to the Omega Blue,  I found using Rose Ointment helped the cracks heal and sofent the tissue.  This is good in the beginng to begin the healing process but I believe it is the addition of Omega Blue to my daily diet that has made the difference.

immune system

Whenever the chips are down or something just isn’t going as planned someone always has to chime in with the age old adage, “At least you have your health.”  Gee, thanks.  I know when I’m in dire straits the last thing I want to hear is how great things are.  But if you go past the face value of that comment having your health is one of the greatest fortunes anyone will ever have.

I like to look at my health as a daily gift and products like your immune system booster are indispensable in helping me maintain my health.  There’s nothing like a natural, preventative approach to caring for yourself.  All-too-often people wait until they’re already sick, and our medical community struggles and strains to catch up and treat an illness or disease that already has considerable momentum.  I’m also thankful there are natural products I can use to keep those kinds of situations out of my life.

rc.jpgs42278ca111087_91.jpgWhen my baby was only four weeks old he was diagnosed with RSV; but, recovered quickly.

It was later in the evening when my husband and I decided we needed to take our son to be seen by a doctor. With him being so young we were sent straight to the hospital. The ER Dr. told us we needed to check in so that he could be monitered for possibly a week depending on his progress. My husband brought me a few essential oils to use on the baby while he was in the hospital.

K&B TinctureI had the misfortune of “feeling the burn” that is assoiciated with a urinary tract or bladder infection this week.   Just another opportunity to appriciate the power of essential oils and products that we use I figure.  Over the years I’ve come to the realization that there are several factors involved.

Of course drinking adequate water is very important.  It’s so logical that it hardly needs explaining but since some may not be aware of the connection, we will discuss it.  When the body is dehydrated and the frequent flushing out of the urinary tract is not taking place we set ourselves up for being a host to an unwelcome guests.  We are exposed to bacteria every day but there are things we can do to avoid being a host. This applices to many other areas too such as respiratory infection. Read the rest of this entry »

NingXia RedIn 2004 I was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer. I received chemotherapy, had a mastectomy which included removing 5 lymp nodes and then received radiation (Good results – cancer did not spread and I am now cancer free). Because I received all of these treatments, I was informed that I was at risk to develop lymph-edema. In February of 2007 (after flying on a plane) I noticed that my arm and hand had started to swell. I went to my doctor who informed me that I had lymph-edema and he recommended that I start physical therapy to reduce and maintain the swelling in the arm and hand. I started physical therapy on March 13, 2007, which included learning how to perform a lymphatic massage and wrapping bandages on my fingers and arm for compression. Before wrapping my arm I had to use an antibacterial cream to ward off any bacteria that could possibly grow under the bandages causing infection in the arm.

Richard & Shawna Dastrup
About 12 years ago we were introduced to Young Living Essential Oils. Shauna used, I made ‘fun’ of her….you know (snake oil). For eight months Shauna used to help herself, me, children, lots of grandkids (15), other family members and friends. But she ignored my ‘negative’ attitude and kept on purchasing, using, experimenting, studying, then bragging to me on how they worked.
